That's incredible! And very creative, alternating the doughs on your second loaf. The rich dark colour of you dark rye is enviable. How did you end up colouring it?
I ended up finding the caramel color. As it turns out, it is also sold for the purpose of coloring gravy -- but unlike other gravy browners, it adds no flavor, just color.
